As traditionally done, we have celebrated Halloween in La Salle Manlleu. Halloween is celebrated on 31st October in the English speaking countries. That’s why in 1st and 2nd of ESO English classes we have celebrated HALLOWEEN. First course students had to look for information about the origins of Halloween, treak-or-treat, costumes, typical food and popular rhymes or songs children use to sing during this festivity.
After the hard work, each group had to explain to other students what they had found. Besides, second course students have worked on how Halloween is celebrated in different countries around the world. They could also decorate the class with typical pictures like pumpkins, ghosts, vampires, skeletons and so on. Multiculturalism is a good value that we promote in La Salle. Learning from other countries improves ourselves. Hope you enjoy the photos!
